Conditions of hire
1. Bookings are accepted by phone.
2.The deposit shall be 25% of the holiday price. The balance must be paid 6 weeks before arrival. Once the booking has been confirmed the Guest will be responsible for payment of the balance of the holiday price. We therefore recommend you to arrange holiday cancellation insurance. No refunds will be made irrespective of the reason for cancellation.
3.Dogs are only allowed on the ground floor of the cottages and must not be left unattended. Whilst outside the cottages dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
4.A damage deposit of £100 shall be paid to Cotmore Cottages in addition to the holiday price, which will be refunded to the guest within 21 days of departure conditional on there being no abnormal cleaning costs, damage or breakages. Should these costs exceed the deposit then the guest will be liable for the balance.
5.Cotmore Cottages reserves the right to require any guest who in it's opinion is behaving unreasonably to leave. In such circumstances no refund will be made.
6.The Guest agrees to take all reasonable care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition ready for incoming guests.
7.Any complaint regarding the accomodation shortage or defect should be notified to Cotmore Cottages as soon as it becomes apparent.
8.Cotmore Cottages accept no responsibilty for accident injury or loss to guests or their possessions whilst staying in the cottages.
9.Whilst every effort is made to ensure that the property their systems and all appliences etc are in good working order no refund will be made for breakdown or failure of any system or appliance. Cotmore Cottages undertake to repair or replace any such system without unreasonable delay.
10.Cotmore cottages takes great care in ensuring the accuracy of it's descriptions in all it's literature. However due to constant improvements and seasonal differences there may be minor variations which occur.
11.Guests may collect their keys between 3pm and 8pm on the date of arrival and must vacate by 9.30am on the date of departure. If a guest is delayed and anticpate a late arrival it is essential to telephone in order that arrangements can be made.
12.The Tenancy created by this agreement is a holiday let within paragraph 9 of part 1 of the housing act.
